The American Academy of CME, Inc. is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The American Academy of CME, Inc. designates this CME activity for a maximum of 2 hours in Category 1 credit toward the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. Pharmacists: The American Academy of CME, Inc. is approved by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education as a provider of continuing pharmaceutical education. Completion of this program provides for 2 hour (0.2 CEU) of continuing education credit. Participants must sign-in and complete and submit a program evaluation form in order to receive CE. Statements of credit will be mailed four to six weeks following receipt of materials from your on-site moderator.. Objectives: Upon completion of this activity the participants should be able to: -Interpret key data from current clinical trials presented on lung, colorectal, gynecological, and breast cancers. -Compare current and future directions of the evolving treatment of lung, colorectal, gynecological, and breast cancers. -Describe the importance of drug interactions, pre-medications, and side effects of chemotherapy. -Describe the quality of life issues in regard to compliance and use of chemo and radiation therapy. Target Audience: The primary target audience for this program is medical oncologists, physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other clinicians involved in the care of patients with cancer. |
