Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education designates this CME activity for a maximum of 2 hours in Category 1 credit toward the American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Nurses: Application has been made for 2.6 contact hours to the Oncology Nursing Society's Approval Unit. The Oncology Nursing Society is accredited as an approver of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Objectives: Upon completion of this activity the participants should be able to: Interpret key data from current clinical trials presented on leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma and coagulation disorders. Promote appropriate supportive care for patients undergoing treatment. Anticipate, identify and manage complications of treatment. Target Audience: The primary target audience for this program is medical oncologists, physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other clinicians involved in the care of patients with cancer. |
